🚨 We’re Hiring | Assistant Manager – Chef (Pastry / Dessert / Ice Cream) 🚨

We are looking for an experienced and creative Assistant Manager – Chef (Pastry/Dessert/Ice Cream) to lead dessert innovation and oversee production of premium desserts, pastries, and ice cream-based creations. This role requires strong technical skills, creativity, and leadership to manage quality, menu development, and team training.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
✅ Menu Development
- Create and update dessert/ice cream menus based on seasonality, trends, and customer preferences
- Develop innovative recipes considering dietary needs
✅ Dessert & Ice Cream Preparation
- Oversee preparation and production of desserts, pastries, baked goods, and ice cream items
- Ensure strict adherence to recipes and production standards
✅ Quality & Consistency Control
- Maintain high standards of taste, texture, quality, and presentation
- Conduct regular tastings and inspections
✅ Creative Presentation
- Ensure visually appealing and modern dessert presentation
- Stay updated with the latest plating and dessert trends
✅ Ingredient & Cost Management
- Source high-quality ingredients
- Manage inventory, portion control, and minimize wastage
✅ Team Training & Leadership
- Train and mentor pastry team members
- Build a positive and collaborative work culture
✅ Compliance & Food Safety
- Ensure hygiene, sanitation, and food safety compliance
🎯 Requirements
📌 Proven experience as a Pastry Chef / Dessert Chef / Ice Cream Chef in a professional setup
📌 8–10 years of experience (preferably in FMCG / Food / Ice Cream industry)
📌 Formal culinary education specializing in pastry/desserts/ice cream
📌 Strong knowledge of flavour profiles, baking, and dessert innovation
📌 Excellent organizational and leadership skills
📌 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
