Young Professional-II

Applications are invited for the position of Young Professional-II (One Post) at ICAR- Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi-110012 initially for a period of one year which may be extendable up to maximum of 5 years based on the performance and requirement. The Young Professional-II (YP-II) is expected to assist the Scientist/PI in the execution of research projects, compilation of data, analysis, writing of reports/research papers and other day to day activities of the institute. The monthly emoluments for the position is Rs. 35,000/- (Consolidated). Essential qualification: Master's degree in Genetics/Cytogenetics/Plant Breeding/Botany/ Agriculture/ Life Sciences with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average. Desirable qualification: Experience in molecular genetics, marker assisted selection, cytogenetics and bioinformatics tools. Age limit: 35 years with relaxation as per rules.
