IBS Engineering Specialist
Summary Of The Role
You design, develop, and maintain internal business solutions that support Amadeus teams. You work on end‑to‑end data and analytics solutions, ensuring they are reliable, well‑integrated, and aligned with internal standards while meeting real business needs.
In This Role You’ll / Your Main Responsibilities
- Analyze functional designs and detailed business requirements for internal solutions, and suggest improved technical approaches where appropriate.
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain software solutions in line with Amadeus technical standards and architecture guidelines.
- Test, debug, and improve code quality and performance based on integration, performance, and stress‑test results.
- Produce and maintain clear technical documentation and support validation activities throughout the product lifecycle.
- Provide technical support by debugging existing solutions and proposing enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
About The Ideal Candidate
- Significant hands‑on experience working with Power BI (Microsoft business intelligence and data visualization tool) at an advanced level.
- Experience with data modeling (including star schema and relational models), Structured Query Language (SQL), and business intelligence architecture.
- Experience designing end‑to‑end analytics solutions, including data integration, modeling, visualization, security, performance tuning, and documentation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and the Microsoft Azure analytics stack.
- Experience with Power BI administration, including connections, capacity management, access control, performance troubleshooting, and governance.
