About the role

Ibotta is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. This person will be responsible for all things expenses - monthly reporting, variance analysis, and budgeting & forecasting. This role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, and preparing reports and presentations for senior management.

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office, (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must reside in the United States.

What you will be doing:


  • Monthly reporting on the company's financial performance.
  • Variance analysis and comparison to budget.
  • Meticulous tracking of vendor spend and renewal timing.
  • Analyze results and provide recommendations to improve results.
  • Participate in annual planning / budgeting processes as well as ongoing monthly forecasting under the leadership of team management.
  • This work will be done by working with one or more cross-functional teams at Ibotta.

What we are looking for:


  • 0-2 years of experience in Finance or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
  • Technical Skills: G Suite, Intermediate Excel
  • Able to manage multiple deliverables without sacrificing attention to detail or efficiency of work production
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional Details:


  • This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals.
  • Total compensation range: $60,000 - $67,000. Equity is included in the overall compensation package. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base salary. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience.
