Role Description This is a full-time, on-site IBM Sterling Integrator and Lightwell Framework Developer role based in Hyderabad. The developer will design, implement, and support integrations using IBM Sterling Integrator, ensuring reliable EDI and B2B data exchange between ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring workflows, mapping and transforming data, troubleshooting integration issues, and optimizing performance and security. The role also involves working with the Lightwell framework to develop reusable components, maintain existing integration solutions, and participate in code reviews and documentation. The developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, follow best practices and standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of integration processes.
Qualifications
- Strong experience with IBM Sterling Integrator, including design, configuration, mapping, and deployment of EDI/B2B integrations.
- Hands-on expertise with Lightwell framework components, reusable integration modules, and related tooling for enterprise data workflows.
- Knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT), B2B integration patterns, and working with ERP and CRM systems in complex environments.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages commonly used with Sterling (such as Java, JavaScript, or similar), and comfort with XML, JSON, and flat-file formats.
- Experience with integration testing, debugging, performance tuning, and production support in high-availability environments.
- Familiarity with APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and secure communication protocols (HTTPS, SFTP, certificates, encryption).
- Understanding of software development best practices, version control (e.g., Git), and documentation of technical designs and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
