In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your Role And Responsibilities
At IBM, our Project Managers excel by leading and coordinating a project team’s overall performance, scope, cost, and deliverables. Our clients rely on timely and efficient status reports, and as Project Manager, you will drive the charge with project direction, metric definition, and performance management. Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Lead multiple, high visibility project management activities and resources with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and define objectives, motivation, and scope, all while providing regular updates and support.
- Build and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Prepare project proposals, roadmaps, and schedules.
- Manage resource allocation and assignment across multiple verticals.
- Manage the compliance program team’s meeting cadences, and communication distribution lists.
- Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Willingness to learn new processes and standards as they evolve and adapt current approaches to maintain a high level of execution.
- Outstanding teammate but can work independently when required.
