About the role
The AIX administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the AIX operating system on IBM Power Systems. This includes tasks such as provisioning and configuring new systems, applying patches and updates, managing user accounts and permissions, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills in AIX administration, as well as experience with virtualization technologies like PowerVM. They will also need to be able to work collaboratively with other IT teams to ensure the overall health and availability of the AIX environment.
