Your Role And Responsibilities

IBM Technology Client Engineering provides speed-to-value and innovation for our clients. We embed the IBM Garage methodology into the sales cycle to co-create and co-execute an initial iteration of an MVP with the purpose to land and grow our hybrid cloud platforms and establish IBM's technical eminence and expertise with our clients. We are a "demonstration and innovation team" that will prove IBM's technology and services through co-creation. This Garage experience will validate the technology or solution approach that leads to meaningful business outcomes for the client and align with IBM's AI and hybrid cloud strategy.

As a Platform Engineer within IBM Client Engineering, you'll play a key role in delivering unique client co-creation experiences to accelerate their transformation. You'll be involved in all aspects of integrated solutions, from identifying requirements to making technical decisions that impact the business case. Your role as a Platform Engineer will be to work with cross-functional teams to realize the full potential of our hybrid cloud and AI solutions to prove business value to our clients.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Understand basic management and operation of Virtual Instance or Docker or Kubernetes environment
• Understand how to operate with IaC(Infrastructure as a Code) & RESTful APIs
• Experience of application development by opensource software
• Understand basic DevOps (CI/CD)

• Experience of managing and operating on-premises/CSP IT environments
• Experience of deploying applications or operating on public cloud
