Transferring and/or progressive Stamping Press Operator
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minium of 1 year of experience operating stamping press, working with coiled steel, & OR automated production lines.
- Basic mechanical skills and ability to read blueprints or technical drawings.
- Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
Preferred Qualifications & knowledge:
- machine operation & basic maintenance.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and statistical process control (SPC).
- Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate stamping press machines according to job specifications and production schedules.
- Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerances.
- Adjust machine settings such as speed, pressure, and feed to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of stamping press equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Document production data, machine performance, and any issues encountered during shifts for reporting and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel to identify and resolve mechanical problems promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
