Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) curriculum with a focus on German language instruction.
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with IB standards and cater to diverse student needs.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and share best practices.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and parent-teacher meetings to promote student success.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must-Have
- Proficiency in German language teaching at the primary level
- Experience with IB PYP curriculum implementation
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Relevant teaching certification or license in language instruction
- Knowledge of assessment methods aligned with IB standards
- Preferred
- Experience working in an international school setting in India
- Additional language skills or certifications
