We deliver an inquiry-driven Primary Years Programme (PYP) that prioritises literacy, critical thinking and holistic development for primary learners. Role: IB PYP Primary English Teacher ? On-site, non-residential position in Jaipur. Immediate joiners only. Role & Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging IB PYP English lessons that develop reading, writing, speaking and listening across primary year levels. Design inquiry-based units of work aligned to the PYP transdisciplinary themes and school assessment policy. Create and use formative and summative assessments to track student progress, provide timely feedback and inform lesson differentiation. Differentiate instruction and scaffold learning for diverse learners, including EAL/English language support and academically advanced students. Maintain effective classroom routines, foster a positive learning environment and manage student behaviour consistently with school expectations. Collaborate with year-level teams, subject leads and parents to support student growth and participate in professional development activities. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have Valid teaching qualification (B.Ed., B.El.Ed. or equivalent) or recognised international teaching certificate. Demonstrated experience teaching in an IB PYP primary classroom. Strong lesson planning and unit design aligned to IB PYP standards and assessment criteria. Proven ability to implement differentiated instruction and learning support strategies. Competence in designing and using formative assessment to inform instruction. Experience maintaining classroom management and positive student engagement in on-site settings. Preferred Familiarity with EAL strategies for multilingual classrooms. Experience with digital learning tools for literacy instruction and student portfolios. Previous participation in IB workshops or professional learning related to PYP curriculum development.
