Job Description: IBDP Maths Tutor

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Maths Tutor for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), specifically for Year 1 and Year 2 students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Mathematics for the IBDP curriculum and a deep understanding of the specific challenges and expectations of this program. This role focuses on guiding students through their Maths studies, helping them build the skills and confidence needed to excel in exams and coursework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Subject Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective online lessons in Mathematics , following the IB curriculum's requirements.
- Lesson Planning: Develop tailored lesson plans and resources to meet the needs of each student, ensuring alignment with IBDP standards.
- Student Support: Provide comprehensive academic support, including assistance with assignments, exam preparation, and addressing individual learning challenges.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track student progress, offer constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to promote continuous improvement.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with students and parents, providing updates on progress and areas for development.
Qualifications
- :Educational Background: A degree in Mathematics or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Teaching Experience: Experience specifically in teaching IBDP Maths for Year 1 and Year 2 is required.
- Technical Requirements: A reliable laptop, high-speed internet connection, and power backup to ensure uninterrupted online sessions.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English, with strong speaking and writing skills for clear communication of complex concepts.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills and an engaging teaching style that fosters a positive and motivating learning environment.
