Role Description
As an IB Library Teacher for the Early Years and Primary Years Programme, you will curate and manage a dynamic library environment that inspires a love for reading and inquiry-based learning. You will plan and conduct engaging lessons aligned with IB standards, assist students and faculty in accessing relevant resources, and foster research skills. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandigarh.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Lesson Planning, and expertise in developing engaging, age-appropriate content
- Proficiency in Education techniques and frameworks, with an emphasis on the IB curriculum for the Early Years and Primary Years Programme
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, teachers, and parents
- Proven abilities in Teaching and Training students in creative and inquiry-based learning environments
- A degree in Education, Library Science, or a related field (advanced qualifications in these areas are an advantage)
- Prior experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum is highly preferred
- Passion for fostering a love for reading and encouraging lifelong learning in children
