About us
We are a UK and India-based technology consultancy delivering IT strategy, architecture, and programme management for Tier 1 and Tier 2 enterprises across Spacetech, Telecommunications, Retail, Financial services and Utilities. Our clients include global satellite operators and major UK telecoms and retail brands, and our work is built on industry standards including TM Forum ODA, MEF, TOGAF, and ARTS. This role sits on our India delivery team, working directly with UK-based enterprise clients on live production systems.
Role summary
We're looking for an IAM Engineer to design and operate identity and access management across our UK clients' enterprise environments — covering authentication, authorisation, lifecycle management, and privileged access. This is an engineering and operations role, building and running the systems that control who can access what, not a helpdesk access-request role.
Key responsibilities
• Design and implement IAM architecture, including SSO, MFA, and role-based/attribute-based access control (RBAC/ABAC).
• Own joiner-mover-leaver lifecycle automation so access is provisioned and, critically, de-provisioned correctly and on time.
• Implement and operate Privileged Access Management (PAM) controls for high-risk accounts and credentials.
• Integrate applications and systems with identity providers (Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Ping Identity) using SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, and SCIM.
• Run periodic access certification and review cycles, and act on findings rather than just reporting them.
• Automate provisioning/de-provisioning workflows to reduce manual, error-prone access changes.
• Support audit and compliance evidence requests around access control, particularly for regulated clients.
• Partner directly with client security and platform teams to close access-related findings from audits or incidents.
What we're looking forRequired
• 4-7 years in IAM engineering, with hands-on ownership of at least one enterprise identity provider (Okta, Entra ID, Ping Identity, or ForgeRock).
• Practical experience with a PAM tool (CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, and SCIM, and experience integrating applications against these protocols.
• Scripting/API integration skills (Python, PowerShell, or similar) to automate identity workflows.
• Experience running or supporting access certification/review processes.
• Excellent written and spoken English — client-facing, no intermediary.
• Comfortable working a 1pm-10pm IST overlap window to align with UK client hours.
Nice to have
• Okta Certified Professional, Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Associate, or equivalent certification.
• Deep PAM implementation experience beyond basic vaulting (session recording, just-in-time access).
• Exposure to regulatory regimes affecting access control in financial services or telecoms (SOX, PSD2).
• Experience supporting identity governance tooling (SailPoint, Saviynt) alongside core IAM.
