Role Overview
The role is responsible for managing IA and TSEC activities for telecom power products such as SMPS, Lithium-ion battery systems, HUPS, and other telecom infrastructure solutions.
The candidate will coordinate with Government Inspection Agencies, certification authorities, customers, and internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and customer specifications for telecom projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with BNSL/Government Inspection Agencies for IA and TSEC of product inspection, certification, and approval processes.
- Manage documentation and compliance requirements related to telecom product certifications.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, technical test reports, and certification records.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as R&D, Quality, Production, and Projects to facilitate inspection and certification activities.
- Ensure all telecom power products comply with technical standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Schedule and manage inspection visits, testing activities, and certification timelines.
- Address observations, non-conformities, and compliance issues raised during inspections.
- Maintain communication with customers and certification authorities to ensure smooth certification processes.
- Manage multiple certification activities simultaneously while ensuring adherence to project timelines.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Having knowledge of telecom power systems, including SMPS, Li-ion batteries, HUPS, and telecom infrastructure products.
- Good understanding of inspection procedures, certification processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills for dealing with inspection agencies and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze technical documentation and test reports.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple certification projects.
- Problem-solving mindset to handle inspection observations and compliance issues.
Educational Qualification
B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Power Engineering or equivalent.
Experience
5–10 years of experience in telecom power systems, certification, quality, or regulatory compliance.
Experience working with telecom infrastructure products such as SMPS, Li-ion battery systems, HUPS, or similar equipment is preferred.
