We look for people who are BOLD, TRUSTED, FLEXIBLE, have a high sense of urgency for results, and hold themselves to a high level of accountability. If this sounds like you, i-PRO is for you!

Purpose of the Job

The Business Development Manager (BDM) – Arrow Security is responsible for driving growth of i‑PRO video, software, and access control technologies through a strategic, exclusive focus on Arrow Security and its customer base.

This role is centered on helping Arrow and its customers transform traditional manned guarding models by integrating edge AI, intelligent video, access control, and proactive alerting to:

  • Enhance protection of guards and the public
  • Reduce risk and incident response times
  • Improve operational efficiency and ROI
  • Deliver modern, proactive security outcomes

The BDM operates as a field-facing, consultative leader, engaging Arrow leadership, sales team, and end customers to position i-PRO solutions early in the security design and planning process.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Development

  1. Own and execute the i‑PRO growth strategy within Arrow Security, focused on both existing and net‑new Arrow customers.
  2. Identify, influence, and develop early‑stage opportunities by promoting technology‑enabled guarding models that combine people, process, and AI‑driven security technology.
  3. Act as the primary i‑PRO evangelist for Arrow, articulating the value of cameras, analytics, software, and access control as force multipliers for manned security.

Customer & Market Engagement

  1. Engage directly with Arrow customers, security decision‑makers, consultants, and influencers to drive specification and solution adoption.
  2. Conduct live demonstrations, proof‑of‑concepts, walk‑throughs, and use‑case discussions showcasing edge AI, real‑time alerts, and proactive threat detection.
  3. Position i‑PRO solutions as tools to protect guards, reduce liability, and improve situational awareness.

Partner Collaboration

  1. Work closely with Arrow leadership, sales teams, and operations to align on target accounts, vertical strategies, and growth plans.
  2. Collaborate internally with i‑PRO sales, sales engineering, and marketing teams to support Arrow opportunities.
  3. Partner with technology alliance providers (e.g., VMS, PSIM, analytics platforms) as needed to support joint solutions.

Pipeline & Revenue Accountability

  1. Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of Arrow‑driven opportunities, with accountability for closed revenue tied to named accounts and initiatives.
  2. Support Arrow’s pursuit of large‑scale, multi‑site, and enterprise deployments across the Northeast and Mid‑Atlantic.
  3. Represent i‑PRO and Arrow at trade shows, industry events, and customer engagement activities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Security Management, or related field preferred (Equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
