Graduate Engineer Trainee

We are seeking a talented and motivated Design Engineer to join our team. The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing, improving, and implementing innovative design solutions for mechanical systems and products. This role requires expertise in CAD software, engineering principles, and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Design & Development: - Create detailed designs of mechanical components and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA). - Develop innovative solutions that meet performance, safety, and cost objectives. - Modify and revise designs based on feedback from prototyping and testing phases. Analysis & Validation: - Perform structural, thermal, and mechanical analysis using FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools to ensure design integrity. - Conduct testing and validation of prototypes, troubleshoot any performance issues, and iterate designs accordingly. Technical Documentation: - Prepare and update technical drawings, specifications, and design reports. - Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and work with procurement teams to source components and materials. Project Collaboration: - Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and other engineering teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable. - Participate in design reviews and provide engineering support throughout the product development lifecycle. Continuous Improvement: - Identify opportunities to enhance existing products and processes to reduce costs, improve quality, and optimize performance. - Stay updated on new design trends, technologies, and best practices within the industry.
