About the role

We're hiring a badass GNC Intern! 🛰🛰


Role Summary: Design, simulate, and validate guidance, control and navigation systems for complex aerodynamic bodies. Range from conduction flight dynamics, state estimation to generating control loop policies based on learning.


Qualifications: Student pursuing Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for supersonic payload delivery systems.
  • Implement advanced flight body dynamics - integrate aerodynamic data, propulsion, and structural data into comprehensive flight dynamic models.
  • Conduct detailed flight dynamics modeling and comprehensive 6-DOF trajectory simulations.
  • Create advanced state estimation algorithms and control loop policies.
  • Use MATLAB/Simulink and Python extensively for algorithm development, simulation, and validation.
  • Collaborate closely with embedded software and electronics teams for real-time algorithm implementation.
  • Participate in sensor integration and testing (IMUs, accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers).


Skills Required?

  • Strong background in control theory, flight dynamics, trajectory optimization and tools like MATLAB, Python, etc.
  • Familiarity with embedded software concepts and sensor integration.
  • Understanding of inertial navigation systems, sensor fusion techniques, and actuator control.
