Our client, an innovative player in healthcare insurance, is seeking a Medior Data Engineer to join their dynamic team in Anderlecht. As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting data initiatives, advanced analytics, and machine learning projects. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to impactful projects within the healthcare insurance sector.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Data Engineer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Gather, consolidate, and prepare data for various BI and Data Science teams.
2. Develop, construct, and maintain Data Cloud Architecture, including Datalake, EDW, and Datamarts, in line with the global data governance strategy.
3. Transform IT strategies into architectures that align with business goals and targets.
4. Formulate client requirements into high-level deliverables and provide clear, deployable task overviews.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Data Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience.
2. Proven industry experience as a Data Engineer.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Big Data tools such as Python, Spark, Hive, and database technologies like SQL.
