HyLogic is an IT consulting company specializing in advanced Supply Chain Planning and optimization solutions. We partner with global enterprises to design and implement digital supply chain ecosystems using tools such as Kinaxis RapidResponse (Maestro), o9 Solutions, SAP IBP, and custom-built optimizers leveraging modern technologies and mathematical models.
As we expand our R&D and optimization capabilities, we are looking for a specialist with strong mathematical and algorithmic background to help us design, prototype, and validate optimization models that support supply chain decision-making — from demand allocation and production planning to inventory management and phase-in/phase-out processes.
As an Optimization Specialist, you will collaborate with our solution architects, data scientists, and business consultants to translate complex business problems into mathematical models and algorithms.
You will play a key role in defining the logic and constraints behind optimization engines — ensuring that our customers’ planning processes are efficient, realistic, and scalable.
Requirements
- Strong background in operations research, mathematical optimization, or industrial engineering.
- Practical experience with at least one optimization solver (e.g., Gurobi, CPLEX, CBC) and modeling language (e.g., Pyomo, PuLP, AMPL, or similar).
- Solid understanding of linear programming (LP), mixed-integer programming (MIP), and heuristics/metaheuristics.
- Proficiency in Python for modeling, testing, and data preparation.
- Analytical mindset and ability to translate business requirements into quantitative models.
- Good communication skills in English (working language).
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes (e.g., demand allocation, supply planning, inventory optimization) and translate them into mathematical formulations.
- Develop, test, and validate optimization models using tools such as Python, Gurobi, Pyomo, or similar solvers.
- Support the design of new optimization-based modules within HyLogic’s product and consulting portfolio (e.g., EOQ Optimizer, PIPO, RCCP Optimizer).
- Work closely with solution architects to integrate mathematical models into technical solutions (Kinaxis Maestro, APIs, etc.).
- Perform sensitivity analyses and scenario testing to validate robustness of optimization logic.
- Document model assumptions, constraints, and results in a clear, business-oriented way.
- Provide guidance and support to consultants working on optimization-related topics.
Nice to have
- Experience with supply chain planning problems (allocation, scheduling, inventory optimization, etc.).
- Familiarity with Kinaxis RapidResponse, o9 Solutions, SAP IBP, or other APS systems.
- Understanding of data integration and API-based workflows.
- Experience working in a consulting or R&D environment.
