Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Hygiene Executive based in Chennai. The Hygiene Executive will be responsible for implementing and managing hygiene and sanitation standards across the hotel to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Key responsibilities include conducting audits, training staff on hygiene processes, monitoring cleanliness in all operational areas, and working closely with departments to maintain high hygiene standards. The role calls for effective collaboration with teams to ensure a safe and healthy environment for guests and employees alike.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and practical application of hygiene and sanitation standards in hospitality or related environments
- Experience in implementing and monitoring hygiene protocols and conducting audits
- Skills in communication, training, and staff engagement on hygiene standards
- Understanding of health and safety regulations within the hospitality industry
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- A relevant degree or diploma in hotel management, environmental health, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is a plus
