Role : Hydraulics/Hydrology Engineer to perform Hydraulic design for hydropower projects
Responsibilities
Ø Perform hydraulic design and analysis for dams, barrages, spillways, intake structures,
tunnels, and powerhouses.
Ø Analyze river behavior, sediment transport, flood routing, and reservoir operation
simulations.
Ø Coordinate with structural and geotechnical teams to integrate hydraulic requirements into
project design.
Ø Review and validate technical drawings, BOQs, reports, and design documentation.
Ø Provide inputs for feasibility studies, DPRs, tender documents, and client presentations.
Ø Participate in field investigations, data collection, and site visits as needed.
Ø Interact with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
Ø Master’s degree in Water Resources/Hydrualics
Ø 5-7 years of experience in hydraulic design of water infrastructure with a focus on dams,
Ø barrages, or hydropower projects.
Ø Proficiency in software such as HEC-RAS, Flow-3D, MIKE series, AutoCAD Civil 3D,
STAAD, MATLAB, etc.
