Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Hydrographic Surveyor based in Navi Mumbai. The Hydrographic Surveyor will be responsible for conducting hydrographic surveys, analyzing and interpreting data, preparing reports, and maintaining survey equipment. Additional responsibilities include working with relevant software systems for data processing and collaborating with team members to deliver precise and accurate results.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in hydrographic survey methodologies, including multibeam and single-beam surveys.
- Experience with survey data analysis, data processing, and GIS tools.
- Operating knowledge of hydrographic survey equipment such as echo sounders, GPS systems, and other specialized tools.
- Skills in project planning, time management, and attention to detail for preparing accurate survey reports and documentation.
- Ability to communicate technical findings effectively with team members and clients.
- A strong understanding of maritime regulations and safety protocols.
- Previous experience or certification in hydrographic surveying or related fields is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Hydrography, Marine Sciences, Geomatics, or related discipline.
