Description
Inventory Control Specialists know the significance of accurate inventory and the effects of discrepancies. Success in this role will require self-motivation to diligently investigate and trouble-shoot issues that cause inventory discrepancies. Strong MRP systems experience will be a necessary skill that will assist you in understanding these issues. Due to the nature of this role, workday schedule flexibility may be required.

What You’ll Do
- Increase inventory accuracy to reduce costly production disruptions
- Maintain high level of accuracy while performing scheduled and random cycle counts
- Use problem-solving skills finding root causes for inventory discrepancies
- Audit inventory systems to identify improvement opportunities
- Inform with routine reports and communications with all levels in organization

Requirements
- Working knowledge and extensive experience of MRP systems
- Strong warehouse and inventory management skills are preferred
- Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- High School diploma with a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing/logistics experience is required
