Deputy Manager - Hydraulic Engineer (MEWP)

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hydraulic Engineer to join our MEWP (Mobile
Elevating Work Platform) division. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in
mobile hydraulic systems and a strong understanding of hydraulic component design,
selection, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and select hydraulic components such as axial piston pumps and motors, gear
pumps and motors, cylinders, filters, strainers, hydraulic tank aggregates, and manifold
blocks.
2. Design and analyze closed-loop hydraulic systems.
3. Create and interpret complex hydraulic schematics for construction equipment, off-road
vehicles, and mining machinery.
4. Perform hydraulic tank sizing and design.
5. Select appropriate hydraulic hoses and fittings based on pressure ratings.
6. Apply knowledge of DIN, ISO, and SAE standards for hoses and fittings.
7. Implement best practices for hose routing and layout.
8. Collaborate with group hydraulic experts for design sign-off.
9. Lead the development and optimization of hydraulic components on machines.
10. Troubleshoot hydraulic issues in both new and existing products, identify root causes,
and coordinate with suppliers for resolution.
11. Manage BOM (Bill of Materials) and drawing releases.
12. Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles in hydraulic design.
