Maskin Power provides transmission line stringing equipment - Pullers (up to 420 kN) and Tensioners for Twin, Quad, Hexa, and Octa conductor configurations, for stringing and reconductoring applications across OPGW, HV, EHV, and HVDC projects from 66 kV to 1,100 kV.
Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic Hydraulic Controls Engineer to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Danfoss PLUS+1 GUIDE software and a strong understanding of mobile hydraulic systems and electronic controls.
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, programming, testing, and commissioning hydraulic control systems for mobile equipment applications. This role involves close collaboration with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical engineering teams to deliver reliable and efficient machine control solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain control software using Danfoss PLUS+1 GUIDE.
- Configure and troubleshoot Danfoss controllers, displays, and PVG valves.
- Design and implement mobile hydraulic control systems.
- Integrate and diagnose CAN Bus and J1939 communication networks.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and commissioning at workshop and customer sites.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and electronic control issues during development and field operation.
- Prepare technical documentation, software records, and commissioning reports.
- Support customers and service teams with technical problem-solving when required.
Qualifications
- 2–6 years of experience in hydraulic controls, mobile equipment, or machine automation.
- Hands-on experience with Danfoss PLUS+1 GUIDE programming is mandatory.
- Experience with mobile hydraulic systems and electro-hydraulic controls.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Danfoss PLUS+1 GUIDE software.
- Strong knowledge of Danfoss controllers, displays, and PVG proportional valves.
- Good understanding of CAN Bus and SAE J1939 communication protocols.
- Experience in mobile hydraulic system design and troubleshooting.
- Testing, validation, and commissioning experience for hydraulic machinery.
- Ability to read hydraulic, electrical, and control system schematics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for site testing and commissioning activities.
- Knowledge of HMI development and machine diagnostics.
- Familiarity with functional safety concepts and machine control architectures.
