About the Role
We are actively seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Hybrid UAV Operations & Maintenance Technician to support our ongoing UPS operations. In this role, you will take ownership of both maintenance and operational support for our Hybrid UAV fleet, ensuring system reliability while assisting in field operations to maximize efficiency, safety, and mission success.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties (Maintenance Focus):
- Assume ownership of end-to-end maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the Hybrid UAV fleet.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, repairs, and part replacements.
- Adhere strictly to operational, safety, and maintenance procedures.
Secondary Duties (Operational Support):
- Assist flight operations teams and pilots during field deployments and daily activities.
- Support mission readiness by ensuring all UAV systems are prepared without operational delays.
- Maintain accurate records of spare parts, tools, and consumables inventory to ensure traceability and availability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in UAV operations and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with multirotor or fixed-wing UAVs and ground control systems.
- Strong understanding of UAV electronics, propulsion, and telemetry systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Proven hands-on technical abilities, including soldering and crimping.
- Ability to work independently and in outdoor environments under varying conditions.
- Proficiency in Telugu to effectively communicate within the primary operational area (Paderu).
