Role Description This full-time, on-site HVAC Technician role is based in Vadodara and involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in industrial and healthcare environments. The HVAC Technician will perform routine inspections, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on chillers, AHUs, ventilation systems, compressors, and related equipment. The role includes reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals, documenting service work, and ensuring systems comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The HVAC Technician will collaborate with facility management teams and engineers, support validation activities, and respond to service requests to minimize downtime and maintain optimal system performance.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, ventilation equipment, and compressors.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals, with solid understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
- Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance planning, fault diagnosis, and root cause analysis in industrial or commercial facilities.
- Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and validation practices related to HVAC and utility systems in regulated industries.
- Proficiency in using HVAC tools, testing instruments, and basic computer skills for documentation, maintenance logs, and work order systems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with engineers, facility managers, and clients on-site.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, or HVAC engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in pharma, healthcare, or process industries is an advantage; willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
