Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an HVAC Technician based in Bengaluru. The position involves performing regular preventive maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues, and repairing HVAC systems. The role requires proficiency in evaluating, operating, and maintaining HVAC equipment and related systems. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety standards and collaborating with team members to improve system performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues effectively
- Knowledge and experience with preventive maintenance procedures and plumbing systems
- Proficiency in handling EPA-regulated materials and maintaining environmental safety standards
- Understanding of electrical systems and their application in HVAC systems
- Ability to work on-site in a team-oriented environment
- Relevant certification or training in HVAC systems; EPA certification is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience in HVAC setup, repair, or maintenance is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems (air conditioners, chillers, ventilation units, etc.)
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot HVAC equipment
- Handle gas charging, leak detection, and system testing
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
- Maintain service records and reports

- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical drawings/manuals
