HVAC Technician / Apprentice – 5-Star Hotel Site
Location: Premium 5-Star Hotel
Salary: Competitive Salary + Overtime
Experience: Experienced technicians preferred | Apprentices welcome
Role Summary
We are hiring HVAC Technicians for a premium 5-star hotel site. The role includes preventive maintenance, breakdown support, troubleshooting, repair and reporting of HVAC systems while maintaining hotel-level safety, cleanliness and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance of Split AC, Ductable AC, Cassette AC, AHU, FCU, VRF/VRV, ventilation and exhaust systems.
- Check filters, coils, drain trays, gas pressure, electrical connections, thermostats, compressors, motors and control panels.
- Attend complaints, identify faults, support repairs, gas charging and part replacement after approval.
- Support installation, testing and commissioning of HVAC equipment.
- Maintain daily logbooks, PM checklists, equipment readings and pending work updates.
- Report spare/material requirements, repeat breakdowns, safety issues and escalations.
- Follow PPE, safety practices, grooming, discipline and work area cleanliness at all times.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycle, electrical controls, VFD/BMS operation.
- Ability to use manifold gauge, vacuum pump, clamp meter, multimeter and hand tools.
- Good discipline, punctuality, site coordination and reporting habits.
- Ability to support emergency breakdowns at hotel site.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in HVAC, RAC, Electrical or Mechanical preferred.
- Experience in hotels, hospitals, malls, commercial buildings, IT parks or facility management sites will be an advantage.
