HVAC Site Engineer – Roles & Responsibilities1. Project Execution & Site Management- Supervise day-to-day HVAC installation activities at site
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and other site engineers
- Monitor progress and ensure project timelines are met
2. Installation & Technical Supervision- Oversee installation of HVAC systems (VRV/VRF, chillers, ducting, piping, AHU, FCU)
- Ensure proper alignment, insulation, and leak-proof installation
- Verify material quality and compliance with technical standards
3. Drawing & Documentation- Study and interpret HVAC drawings (shop drawings, layout, schematic)
- Prepare and update as-built drawings
- Maintain site records: daily reports, material logs, work progress reports
4. Quality Control & Safety- Ensure all HVAC work meets quality standards and client specifications
- Implement and monitor safety practices at site
- Conduct inspections and resolve quality issues
5. Testing & Commissioning- Assist in testing and commissioning of HVAC systems
- Check airflow, pressure, temperature, and system performance
- Coordinate with vendors and consultants during commissioning
6. Client & Vendor Coordination- Liaise with clients, consultants, and project managers
- Coordinate with suppliers for material delivery and approvals
- Attend site meetings and provide updates
7. Material Planning & Billing- Estimate material requirements and track usage
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and assist in billing
- Verify subcontractor bills and work completion
