HVAC Sales Engineer
Position: HVAC Sales Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented HVAC Sales Engineer with 3–6 years of experience in HVAC project sales. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems and a proven ability to generate business, manage customer relationships, and close sales for commercial and industrial HVAC projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities for HVAC projects through consultants, contractors, builders, architects, corporates, and industrial clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with MEP consultants, PMC firms, architects, developers, and key decision-makers.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, BOQs, and tender submissions.
- Conduct site visits, understand customer requirements, and recommend suitable HVAC solutions.
- Coordinate with the estimation, design, procurement, and project execution teams for successful project delivery.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts with customers.
- Follow up on enquiries, maintain a healthy sales pipeline, and achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy customer relationships.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, CRM updates, and customer records.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of HVAC systems including VRF, DX, Chillers, AHU, FCU, Ventilation Systems, Ducting, and Air Distribution.
- Understanding of HVAC project execution and commercial processes.
- Ability to read HVAC drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent relationship-building and customer management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with CRM/ERP software is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3–6 years of experience in HVAC sales, preferably in commercial and industrial projects.
Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates with experience in HVAC OEMs, HVAC contractors, MEP contractors, or HVAC system integrators will be preferred.
