Role Description This full-time HVAC Project Engineer role is a hybrid position based in Bengaluru, with the flexibility for some work from home. The HVAC Project Engineer will plan, design, and oversee HVAC systems for commercial and residential projects, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing detailed HVAC designs and drawings, coordinating with CAD technicians, vendors, and contractors, and reviewing technical specifications and equipment selections. The role involves monitoring project progress, performing site visits, supporting installation and commissioning activities, and addressing maintenance and repair requirements. The engineer will also collaborate with internal teams to optimize system performance, manage documentation, and support project budgeting and scheduling.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in HVAC Engineering and overall HVAC systems knowledge.
- Proficiency in HVAC Design, including load calculations and system sizing.
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for HVAC layouts and schematics.
- Hands-on exposure to Maintenance & Repair of HVAC equipment and systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional project work.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality.
- Prior experience in HVAC project execution or site coordination is an advantage.
