Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC / MEP Site Execution & Shop Drawing Engineer with practical experience in HVAC systems, MEP coordination, and site execution. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing construction-ready shop drawings while independently handling site coordination and resolving technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- HVAC Shop Drawing Preparation
- Prepare HVAC shop drawings including:
- Ducting Layouts
- Chilled Water (CHW) Piping Layouts
- Refrigerant Piping Layouts
- Equipment Layouts
- Installation Details
- Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and construction-ready.
Site Execution
- Supervise installation of HVAC systems at site.
- Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and project teams.
- MEP Coordination
- Coordinate with Civil, Architectural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting teams.
- Identify and resolve service clashes.
- Participate in coordination meetings and implement required revisions.
Technical Review
- Review design drawings and compare with actual site conditions.
- Resolve constructability issues and technical discrepancies.
- Assist in BOQ verification and material quantity take-offs.
- Documentation & Submission
- Prepare drawings for consultant/client approval.
- Incorporate review comments and maintain revision records.
- Support preparation of as-built drawings and project documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including ducting, piping, AHU, FCU, VRF/VRV systems.
- Experience in HVAC shop drawing preparation and site execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to independently resolve site-related technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications
1) Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
2)Experience in commercial, industrial, or high-rise building projects.
Knowledge of MEP coordination and construction practices.
Important Note
This position is intended for a practical HVAC/MEP Engineer who understands real site execution and coordination. We are not looking for a CAD operator alone; the candidate should be capable of managing site challenges and delivering execution-ready solutions.
