Job Description: Senior Gen AI & ML Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Are you an experienced AI/ML professional with a strong background in designing and deploying advanced AI models? Join our team as a Senior Gen AI & ML Engineer and play a key role in developing and optimizing AI solutions for business-critical applications.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML model development, training, and deployment.
• Extensive experience as a Senior AI & Lead Generative AI Engineer, including full project cycles.
• Successfully completed at least 2 large-scale Generative AI implementations, from concept to production.
• Proven track record of executing at least 3 high-value Classic Machine Learning use cases end-to-end.
• Strong expertise in deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and JAX.
• Experience with LLMs, transformers, diffusion models, and GANs.
• Proficiency in Python, NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Dask, Ray).
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python.
• Deep understanding of optimization techniques, GPU acceleration, and cloud-based AI deployment.
• Experience with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud AI services (AWS Sagemaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML).
• Strong grasp of mathematics, statistics, and numerical methods for AI/ML model optimization.
• Excellent project management, presentation, and communication skills.
• Expertise with Azure ML, Dataiku, Azure OPEN, and other LLMs is a plus.
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

• Design, train, and fine-tune AI/ML and GenAI models, including deep learning and traditional ML techniques.
• Deploy AI models at scale, optimizing for efficiency, performance, and reliability.
• Develop and optimize AI pipelines using MLOps best practices.
• Research and develop new AI algorithms tailored for complex industry challenges.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and domain experts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Write high-quality, production-grade code and participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
