Role: Lead Security Engineer
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid, 2 days in office, 3 days work from home)
Comp: 140-175k base + bonus
A Boston-based asset management firm specializing in investment-grade fixed-income portfolio management is looking for a Security Engineer to lead their security engineering efforts.
Responsibilities
- Administering security infrastructure for overall firm
- Monitor, manage and configure a range of security products (such as darktrace, palo alto, exabeam, forcepoint, Illumio, Varonis and more)
- Investigate and resolve security related requests
- Partner with infrastructure team on project work for the firm
- Maintain and test security environment
- Oversee annual penetration testing and tabletop exercises
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years' experience supporting the IT Security infrastructure of a regulated industry such as financial services
- Experience working with a range of security tools and technologies
- Understanding of incident response lifecycle
- Experience with purple team exercises
- Detail oriented and able to identify/troubleshoot issues
- Strong overall communication skills
