Job at a Glance:

Location: Onsite at 480 Pittsburgh Road, Butler, PA 16002

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM



The Recruiter participates in a full range of activities around the selection of talent for the organization. The Recruiter develops recruiting strategies, identifies recruiting sources and networks, and interviews and assesses candidates to build the talent pipeline.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Conducts strategy meetings with field hiring managers to identify needs, and expectations, clarify processes, and provide regular updates
  • Identifies and attends career fairs, school events, and other community and industry outreach activities as the Hunter Truck recruiting representative
  • Recruits and selects qualified personnel for openings
  • Sources, screens, and refers candidates to hiring managers
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with candidates and managers, providing continuous feedback throughout the process
  • Interviews candidates with hiring managers
  • Train and develop hiring managers with their interview skills
  • Develops recruiting strategies to identify the best ways to reach top talent
  • Identifies recruiting sources and networks to maintain the best face-to-face and digital presence and constantly be on the lookout for new ways to build our network
  • Identifies candidates for vacant positions, including assessing job postings and following up on employee referrals, screening resumes, and conducting interviews by phone, in person, or via electronic media
  • Creates and maintains a communication plan that promotes a partnership for acquiring the necessary talent
  • Collaborates with the HR team to ensure job postings are on the most relevant platforms and that open requisitions are filled in an effective, efficient manner with the most qualified, best-fit candidate
  • Develop and maintain relationships with recruiting platform account managers (i.e. LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, etc.)
  • Actively and constructively participates in team meetings and professional development activities to remain relevant when recruiting within our industry
  • Maintains current knowledge of emerging technology to stay abreast of innovative sourcing trends and best recruitment practices
  • Maintains memberships in/rapport with professional associations, and secondary/post-secondary education institutions
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree and 2-4 years of recruiting experience or 5+ years of recruiting experience



TECHNOLOGY

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency with an emphasis on PowerPoint, Word, and Microsoft Outlook. Must be proficient with the use of web delivery tools as an optional interviewing method. Preferred experience using an applicant tracking system and online recruiting platforms to source, track, and measure results.



CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

A valid Driver’s License is required with the ability to pass company insurability standards



TRAVEL

Up to 70% including overnight travel.
