Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Specialist role based in Kolkata. The Human Resources Specialist will manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee onboarding, documentation, attendance, and lifecycle activities. The role involves administering HR policies and procedures, coordinating employee benefits, and supporting performance management and engagement initiatives. The specialist will handle personnel records, assist with recruitment and selection processes, and ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and company standards. The position also supports managers and employees with HR-related queries, contributes to HR reporting, and participates in continuous improvement of HR practices to foster an inclusive and supportive workplace.
Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, with experience in day-to-day HR operations.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of HR Policies and Employee Benefits, including development, implementation, and communication of policies and benefits programs.
- Candidates should possess Personnel Management skills, including maintaining employee records, handling employee queries, and supporting performance and engagement processes.
- Relevant experience in financial services, microfinance, or working with underbanked or rural communities is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams in an on-site environment.
- Working knowledge of local labor laws, HR systems, or HRIS tools, and proficiency in MS Office.
Location - Kolkata HO - Park Street Area. WFO, 6 days a week.
Must understand and speak Bengali, Hindi & English fluently, Assamese is a plus.
Package 6LPA.
