We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Specialist to join our team. In the oil and gas industry, our greatest asset is our workforce—spanning engineering, corporate, and field operations. You will play a pivotal role in managing end-to-end HR functions, focusing on talent acquisition for highly technical roles, maintaining workforce compliance, and fostering a strong safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for technical, engineering, project management, and field-based roles (e.g., Pipeline Engineers, HSE Officers, Technicians).
Source specialized talent using industry networks, job boards, and professional platforms.
Coordinate robust onboarding and mobilization processes, ensuring field employees and contractors are fully cleared and prepared before deployment.
2. Regulatory Compliance & Policy Management
Maintain strict adherence to local and international labor laws, statutory regulations, and industry-specific compliance standards.
Manage HR documentation, contract renewals, and compliance tracking for specialized certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET, or specific safety clearances if applicable).
Align HR policies with corporate Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
3. Employee Relations & Performance
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, providing fair and timely conflict resolution.
Administer the annual performance appraisal process and assist department heads in defining clear KPIs for technical teams.
Bridge the communication gap between corporate leadership and site-based/field employees.
4. Compensation & Benefits Administration
Assist in managing payroll processing inputs, tracking site allowances, overtime, and rotational shift differentials.
Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring competitive benchmarking within the energy sector.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a strong plus.
Experience:
3–5+ years of core HR experience, with a mandatory minimum of 2 years within the Oil & Gas or heavy engineering industry.
Industry Knowledge:
Deep understanding of workforce mobilization, rotational shift schedules, and field-site logistics.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with HRIS platforms, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and advanced Excel for data tracking.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills; ability to connect equally well with executive leadership and ground-level technical crews.
