Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Specialist role based in Bangalore Urban. The Human Resources Specialist will manage day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, maintaining employee records, and supporting payroll and benefits administration. The role will involve implementing and updating HR policies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and supporting performance management processes. The specialist will act as a point of contact for employee queries, support employee engagement initiatives, and assist managers with personnel-related matters such as staffing, attendance, and basic conflict resolution. The position will also contribute to recruitment activities, coordination of interviews, and organization of training or development programs aligned with Palasa’s culture and business needs.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) practices, with the ability to support generalist HR activities across the employee lifecycle.
- Experience in HR Management and Personnel Management, including coordinating recruitment, onboarding, and performance support.
- Knowledge of HR Policies and Employee Benefits, with the ability to implement and communicate them clearly and fairly.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities on-site.
- Proficiency with HRIS tools, spreadsheets, and basic reporting; familiarity with labor laws and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a growing or design-focused organization is a plus, along with an interest in wellness, design, or nature-inspired workspaces.
