BharatTender is India’s first digital marketplace for private B2B procurement, bringing structure, trust, and efficiency to how businesses source suppliers.
Today, companies rely on fragmented channels, unverified vendors, and offline negotiations. BharatTender replaces this with a transparent tender-based system—where businesses publish requirements, receive competitive bids, benchmark pricing using AI, and transact securely through escrow.
We’re building the trust infrastructure for private procurement in India, similar to what GeM did for government buying.
Role Overview
This role is a hybrid HR function covering:
- Talent Acquisition (core focus)
- Payroll & HR Operations
- Foundational HR systems and culture building
You will work closely with founders and function heads to hire, manage, and scale high-performance teams.
Key Responsibilities
1.Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)
- Own end-to-end hiring across functions (Tech, BD, Ops, Marketing)
- Build and manage sourcing funnels (Wellfound, LinkedIn, referrals, campuses)
- Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and manage offer rollouts
- Design hiring processes, scorecards, and evaluation frameworks
- Build employer branding and hiring narratives aligned with BharatTender’s vision
2.Payroll & HR Operations
- Manage monthly payroll processing (salaries, reimbursements, compliance)
- Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, TDS, contracts, etc.)
- Maintain employee records, documentation, and HRMS hygiene
- Draft offer letters, contracts, and HR policies
- Handle onboarding and offboarding processes
3.HR Systems & Process Building
- Set up HR workflows from scratch (attendance, leave, performance tracking)
- Implement HR tools / HRMS
- Build performance review cycles and feedback systems
- Define org structures, roles, and reporting frameworks
4.Culture & Employee Experience
- Drive onboarding experience and early-stage culture building
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries
- Support leadership in building a high-performance, ownership-driven culture
