Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resources Manager & IR at our facility in Howrah. The role involves overseeing the complete HR function of the organization, including HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compliance, and Industrial Relations.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, managing onboarding processes, supervising payroll and benefits administration, handling employee documentation, and fostering a positive organizational culture. The role also requires close coordination with management and different departments to ensure alignment between business goals and HR practices, while supporting employee training and development initiatives.

We are looking for an experienced candidate who can independently manage HR responsibilities in a structured and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee complete HR operations and administration
  • Manage employee relations and maintain a positive work environment
  • Handle recruitment, talent acquisition, and onboarding processes
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with industrial laws, statutory requirements, and Industrial Relations practices
  • Manage payroll, benefits administration, attendance, leave, and employee records
  • Lead performance management and employee evaluation processes
  • Support employee engagement, training, and development programs
  • Work closely with management and cross-functional teams to align HR practices with business objectives
  • Handle all other general HR and administrative responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Experience in employee relations and maintaining a healthy workplace culture
  • Hands-on experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, and onboarding
  • Proficiency in HR policy creation, payroll management, and benefits administration
  • Good knowledge of compliance requirements and Industrial Relations
  • Experience in performance management, employee engagement, and training programs
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with management and cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, Microsoft Office, and Email handling
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Team management capability
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors will be preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Experienced candidates only minimum 5 years.
  • Must be able to commute daily to Howrah, Dhulagarh
  • Travelling time should preferably be less than 2 hours
