Job Description
The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Talent Acquisition: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for retail, manufacturing, and corporate roles to ensure the right talent is in place.
Performance Management: Drive the performance appraisal system that rewards high performance and addresses development needs.
Compliance & Labour Laws: Ensure the company is in full compliance with Gujarat state labour laws, Factory Act regulations, and industrial relations.
Training & Development: Identify training needs for staff (especially hygiene and safety standards for food production) and monitor training programs.
Policy Development: Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues and developing internal HR policies.
Payroll & Benefits: Oversee the payroll process, ensuring accuracy in statutory deductions like PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax.
Requirements
Education: MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent degree.
Experience: 7–12 years of proven working experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Executive, preferably in the FMCG or Retail sector.
Skills: * Deep knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
Languages: Proficiency in Gujarati is essential for interacting with the production workforce, along with Hindi and English.
