Job Summary
The Senior HR Manager is responsible for leading and managing the overall human resources function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, policy implementation, compliance, learning & development, and organizational culture initiatives. The role supports business goals by developing HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Management
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with leadership teams on workforce planning and organizational development.
- Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for leadership and critical positions.
- Build talent pipelines and succession planning strategies.
- Ensure effective onboarding and employer branding initiatives.
3. Employee Relations
- Manage employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and labor laws.
4. Performance Management
- Lead performance appraisal processes and goal-setting frameworks.
- Coach managers on employee development and performance improvement plans.
- Identify high-potential employees and leadership development opportunities.
5. Compensation & Benefits
- Support salary benchmarking and compensation reviews.
- Administer employee benefits programs and HR budgets.
- Ensure payroll coordination and statutory compliance.
6. Learning & Development
- Identify training needs and implement capability-building programs.
- Promote leadership development and career progression initiatives.
7. HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain HRMIS data accuracy and reporting.
- Develop and update HR policies and SOPs.
8. HR Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze HR metrics including attrition, hiring, engagement, and productivity.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
- 8–15 years of HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems.
