Role Description The Human Resources Manager will oversee and coordinate all HR functions at The Fries Empire’s Chandigarh location in an on-site, full-time capacity. The role includes managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for restaurant and support staff. The HR Manager will handle employee relations, performance management processes, and day-to-day HR operations such as attendance, payroll coordination with finance, and HR documentation. Responsibilities also include developing HR policies, organizing training and development initiatives, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards, and supporting a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture. The role involves close collaboration with operations leadership to align HR practices with business goals and guest experience standards.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Experience in policy development, HR compliance, and understanding of local labor laws and regulations.
- Skills in conflict resolution, coaching, and fostering an inclusive, respectful workplace environment.
- Proficiency in HR administration, including HRIS usage, documentation, payroll coordination, and attendance management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or retail operations is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced setting, manage multiple priorities, and support both frontline and management staff.
