Job details:
Culture and People are two things that we pride ourselves in and who better to exemplify that than the first person they get in touch with(you!), ergo we are looking for someone who can embody them in the right spirit :) So reach out asap and let's get going in fulfulling the mission onboard!
About the job:
This role owns hiring & people management at Uniq You — from understanding what a team actually needs to closing the right person, fast. You will run end-to-end recruitment across functions, build a pipeline that doesn't dry up, and make sure we never lose a great candidate to a slow process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Hiring & Talent
- Own end-to-end hiring across roles — sourcing, screening, closing
- Build a hiring engine that doesn't depend on the founder's network
- Move fast without lowering the bar
2. People Operations
- Run onboarding, payroll, compliance, and policies — clean and on time
- Build the basics of a high-ownership culture as we scale
- Be the first call for anything people-related, without becoming a bottleneck
3. Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner with founders and team leads on org design and headcount planning
- Align internal teams with vendor timelines and deliverables
- Remove blockers before they become escalations
4. Special Projects
- Set up HR systems, tools, and documentation from scratch
- Build performance review and feedback rhythms
- Own ad-hoc people or vendor problems that don't fit a job description
What We're Looking For
- Atleast 2 years in HR, with hands-on experience in hiring and ops at a startup/D2C brand.
- MBA Preferred if you do have one!
- Track record of managing people or third-party relationships
- High ownership — chases closure, doesn't escalate every problem upward
- Comfortable with ambiguity and zero-to-one setups
- Clear communicator (written + verbal), strong on follow-through
We are building 0-1 so you should be comfortable with ambiguity and follow through instead of expecting set processes to get going!
