Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resources Manager located in Navi Mumbai. The Human Resources Manager will oversee and manage HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, compliance, and performance management. The role involves developing and implementing HR strategies, maintaining a positive workplace environment, and complying with labor laws and organizational policies. The HR Manager will also act as a bridge between management and employees to ensure effective communication and resolve workplace issues.
What You’ll Own
- Day-to-day HR operations across the company
- Payroll inputs, attendance, leave management, and HRMS hygiene
- Employee onboarding/offboarding and query resolution
- Hiring coordination across multiple open roles
- Bringing process clarity for managers and employees
- HRMS / ATS workflows and operational tracking
- Policy implementation and employee communication
- Coordination with founders, managers, recruiters, and external HR partners
- Building scalable people processes as the company grows
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8 years of experience in HR / People Operations
- Prior experience in fast-growing startups or high-growth environments preferred
- Strong hands-on experience with:
Payroll operations
HRMS platforms
Attendance & leave systems
Hiring coordination / recruitment ops
Employee lifecycle management
- Someone proactive who takes ownership instead of waiting for instructions
- Comfortable handling ambiguity, multiple priorities, and rapid changes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work closely with founders and leadership teams
- Systems/process-oriented mindset with strong execution ability
Bonus If You Have
- Experience setting up HR processes from scratch
- Worked in tech / deep-tech / startup environments
- Experience with ATS, PMS, or HR automation tools
- Exposure to scaling teams from ~30 to 100+ employees
