Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management for office and logistics personnel. The Human Resources Manager will develop and implement HR policies, maintain compliance with local labor regulations, manage performance review processes, and support employee engagement and retention initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating hiring activities, maintaining HR records, handling employee relations and conflict resolution, managing payroll inputs and benefits administration in collaboration with finance, and supporting training and development programs. The role also partners with leadership to plan workforce needs, promote a safe and inclusive workplace, and align HR practices with the company’s operational and growth objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, compliance requirements, and best practices relevant to logistics or transportation sectors.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage HR data, maintain accurate records, and use HRIS or related HR software tools.
- Proven organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience in employee engagement, training coordination, and culture-building initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an HR generalist or HR manager, preferably within logistics, transportation, or a similar operational environment.
