NexTen Brands is an early-stage startup with a clear goal: to partner with and scale the next generation of powerhouse brands. We are building a world-class team of "hustlers" and "doers."
We believe that culture isn't what’s written on the walls; it’s the collective energy of the people in the room. We are looking for an HR Generalist who views Human Resources through a first-principles lens—discarding "corporate fluff" to build a lean, high-performance, and high-happiness environment from the ground up.
Your Scope of ImpactAs our dedicated HR reporting to the CEO, you will own the entire employee lifecycle. Your mission is divided into three core pillars:
1. Talent Scout & Growth Partner- End-to-End Recruitment: You won't just "post jobs." You will hunt for the top 1% of talent who fit our disruptive DNA.
- Onboarding: Design an onboarding experience that makes new hires feel like they’ve joined a mission, not just a company.
2. Chief Culture Architect & Engagement- Culture Building: Leave no stone unturned in creating a positive, high-energy work environment. You will design the rituals, celebrations, and communication loops that define us.
- Employee Engagement: Move beyond "pizza parties." Create meaningful engagement strategies that foster deep connection, radical transparency, and a sense of belonging.
- Communication: Act as the bridge between leadership and the team, ensuring our vision and "why" are understood by everyone.
3. The HR "Operating System" (Ops & Strategy)- Policy Disruption: Frame employee policies that favor "Common Sense" over "Bureaucracy." You will build our HR handbook from scratch.
- Performance Management: Manage performance evaluation cycles that focus on growth, candid feedback, and rewarding "impact" over "activity."
- Backend Ops & Payroll: Own the "boring but critical" stuff—payroll, compliance, and HR records—ensuring they run like a well-oiled machine so the team can focus on building brands.

- First-Principles Thinker: You don't care how "Big Corp" does HR. You ask, "What is the most effective way to keep our people motivated and compliant?"
- Communication Powerhouse: You can articulate the company's vision and policies with clarity, empathy, and punch.
- The Problem Solver: When friction arises in the team, you don't just report it—you diagnose the root cause and fix it.
