Alongside the cafes, initiatives such as the MITTI Karuna Meals program and experiential training for disabled individuals help sustain its high-impact livelihood model. Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role, located in Bengaluru, for a Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager will oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and development of employees, particularly supporting individuals with disabilities within the organization. Responsibilities include managing employee performance, facilitating training programs, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture. The candidate will play a key role in optimizing HR operations, supporting organizational policies, and implementing initiatives that align with MITTI Café’s mission of empowerment and inclusion.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of recruitment, employee onboarding, and retention strategies
  • Experience with performance management, employee relations, and HR compliance
  • Knowledge of workplace inclusivity, particularly related to employment for individuals with disabilities
  • Skills in training facilitation, team building, and organizational development
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in human resource management tools and software
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Prior experience in NGO or social enterprise organizations is highly desirable
  • Strong commitment to MITTI Café’s mission of promoting inclusion and opportunity for all
